Fiat 1800-2100 Tyres

  • The Fiat 1800 and Fiat 2100 originally fitted a 590 - 14 crossply tyre, but this tyre size is no longer available.
  • However, for a period radial option that both looks and handles great, we suggest fitting the 165 HR 14 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67.
  • The 1800 & 2100 were released on tube-type wheels throughout their production. Innertubes are required on these wheels, even if you fit tubeless radials.
  • The Michelin 14D innertube is the best fitting tube for these tyres.
  • Fiat 1500L

  • The Fiat 1500L would also drive best with 165 HR 14 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67 tyres.

The Fiat 1800 was launched in 1959 as a four-door sedan and a five-door Familiare (Station Wagon). The 1800 model had a 1795 cc 6-cylinder in-line engine with a power output of 75 horsepower provided via a 4-speed gearbox. Its top speed ranged from 85 to 88 miles per hour, depending on the model. This was superseded in 1961 by the 1800 model B, which had an engine power of 81 hp and a peak speed of between 89 and 91 mph.

The 2100 was a larger variant with a 2054 cc six-cylinder engine. The 2100 Speciale was released in autumn 1959, with a longer wheelbase and a redesigned front grille. Diplomats made use of the Speciale. When the Fiat 2300 became available in Italy in 1961, the 2100 was phased out.
