Daimler 250 V8 on the Mobil Economy Run

The Daimler V8 Saloon originally came without power steering and fitted 640x15 cross ply classic tyres, radial tyres were also available, the best options being the 180x15 Michelin XAS, a nice tall tyre which keeps the steering light. Or the 185x15 Pirelli Cinturato ™ CA67.

If you would like to fit a radial alternative to the Daimler V8 Saloon with power steering the 185HR15 Michelin XVS-P would be the best fitment.
